FAQ
Short answers. The long ones are in the rules and the guides.
Playing
Do I need an account?
No. Open a public table and play. An account only saves your seeds, friends and season points across devices.
Can I play in the browser?
Yes, at play.macao-online.ro. Same tables, same players as the apps; nothing to install.
Which rules do you use?
Romanian Macau: 2 and 3 attack, the black joker is +5, the red joker +10, a 7 cancels, a 4 skips, an ace names the suit. Polish Makao comes later as a second rule set.
What languages?
English, Romanian, German, Spanish, Polish, Serbian, Turkish, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic and Persian.
Tables and bots
Why is there a bot at my table?
Nobody else was found for that seat in time. Bots are always marked, play by the same rules and the table still pays in full.
Can I pick the table size?
Yes: 2, 3 or 4 seats. The app remembers your choice.
What happens if someone leaves?
They place last. The others play on. At a 2-seat table the game ends and you win.
Is there a ranking?
There is a monthly season leaderboard by points. No ratings, no ranked or casual modes — every public table counts.
Seeds, jokers and Pro
What are seeds?
The currency. You earn them by placing at public tables and in tournaments, and spend them in the shop.
What does the joker do?
The joker is the only power-up: it lets you pull a card of your choice once a game. It is not the joker card.
What is Pro?
A subscription that removes ads and makes voice rooms free for everyone at your table. Nothing in the game itself changes.
Fair play
How do I check a shuffle?
After the game, open the result and tap the seed. The page shows the seed and the deal order; you can rerun the shuffle with the code we publish.
How do you handle cheating?
A seat that runs out of time three times is removed. Reports go to a person, not a filter.
